My son started The Crypt Grammar School in September 2016.  We live in Gorsley.  He and two other Gloucester school children join him at Gorsley (adj, Gorsley Goffs school to catch a bus at 07:10 to Glouester in the morning.  In addition there are two other Gloucester school children who catch the same bus en route at Kilcot.  Stagecoach have cut the service to Ross.  This means that our son and other school children leaving Gloucester schools at 15:15 arrive in Newent at 16:30 and then wait for parents to pick them up!  It seems ludicrous to stop this particular service at this time when there are so many children congregating in Newent at this time.  I have emailed/spoken to Crypt School, the Operations Manager, James O'Neill (Gloucester, Stagecoach) and even our MP, Jesse Norman, but to no avail.  I'm sure there must be other parents out there who have a similar story.

Stagecoach have said they will review the situation, IF there is enough evidence to support this issue.  This means we parents need to put this case forward as a whole, to try and resume this service.  I hope you will help me/us by joining and putting your comments on this forum, so that we can provide the evidence required.

I'm hoping that by posting this on FB, it will help raise responses from other parents/guardians affected by this issue of bus travel to and from school.  Thankyou for your support.
