Local Plan Hearings

On Thursday (13 Feb.) I have been given a (late in the day!) chance to put forward comments on how the Local Plan will affect Ashford at the Inspector's Hearing at Knowle Green. Probably soon after 10 a.m.
Basically I'll be pressing the case for
* The new community centre to be in the MIDDLE of the town (not on the edge).
*2nd thoughts about concreting over the Green Lung beside the Woodthorpe Road sport centre
*RE-classifying the land north of Chattern Hill as Green Belt.
