I need help finding information on a guy who was named Brian Clewson and lived in the Todmorden area in the late 50's

Can anyone help me find information on a guy who went by the name Brian Clewson.(not entirely sure if that spelling is correct however.)
He attended Scaitcliffe secondary modern school in Todmorden, some time between 1956 and 1962. And lived somewhere behind the Golden lion.
We believe he may be an adoptee. and may well have used a different name after leaving school.
Perhaps if you don't know anything, you could ask your parents if they were at that school around that time.
We would be extremely grateful for any help with this matter.
