Making the jump to a quieter life.

Hi all, my wife and I have been travelling the west coast of Scotland for the last 10 years and have finally decided to take the plunge and make the permanent move. We are looking to relocate from Liverpool to Campbelltown. At 52 & my wife at 51 this is the right time to do it. We were planning to come up for a week in February 2021 only if Covid restrictions are lifted to scout around the property, as well as check out the area for employment. I am a Production Manager for a manufacturing company, and my wife is a Manager for Social Services in Aintree Hospital.
Any advice or tips, or help would be greatly appreciated at this point. Any suggestions on property, jobs, forums for information would also be welcomed.
