Hello, during the 1970s/80s my family rented a cottage in Coltishall which was quite near the river, I cant remember if the river was geographically in front or to the left hand side of the building though

The property was part of a small terrace of houses, four in total i think, set away from the main road by a lane and they were possibly built in the 60s and quite near the front and beyond where the car park was was a small area where there were climbing bars and maybe swings too

Does this sound remotely familiar to anyone living there now or in the past because I cant locate it at all on google maps, the houses were similar to those in the photo but not as wide
Thanks in advance

Am a coltishall boy and don't know of any terraced houses as per your photo in Coltishall

However in the next parish over coltishall bridge in Horstead there are two rows of terraced houses very similar to your photo in a close behind the Recruiting Sergeant Pub. The close is named St.Margerets Close and opposite and across the main road from the Sergeant Pub is a small village playing field in Mill Road.which leads down to the river.

Hope this information is of use to you  Regards

Thanks for your reply TopCrop but they are much nicer than where we stayed, the ones I remember were more secluded and almost prefab, my mother thinks they may have been demolished by now x
