The end of my life on the puppies rescue trail.
Having lived in East Grinstead for the past 21 years in retirement my main activity in life here has included many rescued dogs and puppies from Ireland which I have rehomed in various location mainly in the home counties. I am no longer able to continue with the rescues mainly because of the recent law that all dogs must have a passport and be vaccinated against rabies. A completely unnecessary law since there is no rabies here and none in Ireland. Puppies can't be vaccinated until 15 weeks and to add insult to injury the animals have to remain in the country until 3 weeks after the vaccination. Shame I can't do it any more because it costs too much and the puppies at 18 weeks are too big.
