Hi I am a committee member of cambs876remembered we are a group of British Legion Riders and for the past 4 years we have been honouring the soldiers of the Cambridgeshire Regiment who died in the 1st WW. We will be honouring our very last man 876 of 876 Pte John Edward Payne in May 2021 at Guyhirn Old Cemetery.
We are looking for family of this soldier and also a photograph of him. His mother and father were Charles and Everett Payne and he had five siblings Mark, Alice, Rose, Arthur and Lily.
We would be very grateful for any information please
