Haxby/Lolly family history

Hello - I have just started researching my family history and have traced one line back to the Haxby/Lolly families in Hampsthwaite and would be grateful for any local information anyone may have. My husband and I are planning to visit the village in the near future and would love to access parish records and go inside the church, if possible. Any advice welcome! Many thanks, Holly
