Hawarden/Ewloe border

The border between hawarden and ewloe is often disputed, it is not so black and white as the villages have no clear seperation. It is very common for people from ewloe to claim they live in hawarden, due to the fact hawarden has a better reputation. Outsiders often mistake parts of ewloe to be hawarden e.g the crown and liver and the co-op close by, despite the ewloe sign being located down the road. Wood lane maybe classed as hawarden but to many living east of the high school they see that area as basically ewloe .
