Looking for Steven Hardy,John Lee we all went to Hayling Secondary School together back in 1963.I lived on Linden Grove,1966 I imagrated to Canada but have returned to good old U.K. ( Barry )

Hi Barry, remember me,my name is David James I went to Hayling School as well back in the mid 60s. Steven Hardy's dad had a second hand shop in Mengam if I remember, and John Lee livid in Manor road opposite the caravan park. I left Hayling back in late 1967 and moved to Windsor in Berkshire,got married,had two boys(all grown up now),lived there for 30+ years,retired to The New Forest,then moved back to Bracknell in Berkshire last December.they were really happy times I spent the Island. How are you keeping these days all right I hope. I hope you receive this message,as it would be nice to keep in touch and remember the old days. Dave.

Hi David, i'am trying to remember you where abouts did you live on the island. Did you live in a bungalow down the road from John, I was on Linden Grove. As you might know we immigrated to Canada, my dad always wanted to go there this was 1966 I stayed there for 10 years and returned to England 1975. Meet a young lady married in 77 have 3 children all in there 30s, lived not far from Winsor, West Molesey just near Hampton Court. Now i'am retired we live in Wymondham, Norfolk been here 3 years now but finding it hard very quiet used to traffic if you know what I mean. We are thinking of selling up and coming back to Surrey. Anyway David hope you and your family are well speak to you soon Barry.

Hi Barry sorry it's been a long time for me to reply,but this old covid thing got me as well,but I'm on the mend now touch wood 😷😷😷.reading back on your last post,I lived in West Lane in West Town. as I remember we had a little bundle in the classroom over something, and you came out on top (good fun eh).Are you still thinking of moving back to Surry area yet,or has this covid thing stopped all that,good luck with the move if comes off ok, Any way must close now and hope you and your family are keeping well,and hope to speak to you again soon.
