Does anyone remember when Jeyes Fluid used to be used for more than washing down public loo's and smelly areas at home? When I think back I am sure it could be used as a soil steriliser and plant wash to eliminate unwanted bugs and insects. Or is my memory playing tricks on me?

Last year I had a pretty severe outbreak of Fuschia Gall mite. I cut back to healthy looking stems and still the mite curled up the tips. So I did it again and then gave it a dousing with a 50ml to 4.5L of water mix. No more mite and I have my fingers crossed it has gone. Next target is box caterpillars.
