I see in Your Local Paper that UKIP candidates are standing in various wards again. Given that Brexit is/was a national issue, not a local council one, doesn't this make UKIP irrelevant in local elections? What do they stand for other than Brexit? And surely, once the referendum was held and the votes counted, UKIP no longer had a purpose? Doesn't this make them doubly irrelevant in the forthcoming elections?
