Hi JoeS First of all I entirely agree with your view on the point of Nextdoor taking over from streetlife -- regarding the NBP questions I have written to Dan Poulter - Colin Noble - Kathy Bole and David Goldsmith, and have had one or two reasonable replies -- but when it comes down to the nitty gritty they are all coming back with sayings as -- we are looking into a NDR or a NRL no mention of a NBP -- when I have written back to all, asking how this all fact into their suggestion of the three corridor plan -- Outer, Middle or inner corridor and why have they not taken the opportunity to take and use the same route as the wind farm project I have not had one answer from any of them, on two occasions I have had a shout on Suffolk Radio but it is a cold job standing on a road somewhere at 7-30am with only about 7 mins to get in all one would wish to say and at nearly 90yrs of age that's tuff.
The Northern fringe build it looks as though the archaeological dig has been done and the trenches all backfilled -- they are now doing the drill soil testing as is usual before building -- what worries me is -- first it was 3000 homes then 2500 and now 3500 -- if we take the middle figure of 3000 it is fair to say each family will have two cars -- 6000 in all -- if any of these want to go to Felixstowe,Woodbridge, Lowestoft or the other way to London, Norwich, Cambridge or the Midlands they will all have to use the Valley road (A1214) add to this the closure of the Orwell bridge at any time and Ipswich is in utter chaos, so as you have said Ipswich do need and must have a NBP
Regarding your question as to Sandy Martin, unfortunately, he is not my MP but from what I gather from MartinC he is in favour of a NBP and is against any WDC Ben Gummers a Bridge too Far -- Do hope that has answered your questions there is of course much more all on our website and to be honest I have taken quite a bit of space up on here as it is -- as regarding the position of where we stand in our quest for a NBP it would appear that it is still up in the air and I feel that we have the conseritve SCC to blame for that.
