Family History - Wrens Park, Leaden Roding & MacPherson family C1939 to 1967
Hello,
Through ancestry DNA I found where my Great Grandfather lived for part of his life but not where he or my great grandmother were buried.
It is too long ago to remember Mr & Mrs MacPherson but is there any local history on the house Wren's park? Was it part of a larger estate or farm. Would it have been the main house or the grounds keeper's house? I stopped outside the other day, and we had a little reminisce from the outside only.
My own father has fond memories of playing in the garden with its apple orchard c1965 with his brothers and sisters. The larger grounds he remembers have gone now, and there is an selection of 1980's or 90/s houses built on it.
My next try is the six parishes.org to try and find if the were buried locally. It's a long shot - but any information would be interesting.
