Moving to the Lincs Coast

Hello :)
I am looking to move up to the lincs coast next year, Currently, live Near Maldon in Essex where I have been with my family for the last `13 years. My sky-high rent here ( just gone up again ) is the reason we are moving.
Having done a lot of research on Mablethorpe and the surrounding towns /villages I would like your opinions as residents to what Mablethorpe is like .
I shall be retiring and this will be the last and final that we move
