Air pollution
Air pollution is more deadly than smoking. 8-8 million people globally have prematurely lost their lives because of this curse of air pollution. it has shortened life expectancy by 3 years. Professor Manse has said that, "We believe our results show there is an air pollution pandemic". Having said all of this, we still build masses of houses and each house having a minimum of 2-5 cars. I know and understand why we need more houses, but we must all understand the health risks associated with house building. More cars, equals more noise and definitely air pollution. This is a fact and is confirmed in pollution readings being taken in parts of Sefton and overall, in the rest of Merseyside. It is an absolute disgrace that pollution of this magnitude is only due to grow. We have a duty to the next generation for them to be able to breathe clean air. The experts are telling us that air pollution needs reducing now. It is not an option to stand by and hope it goes away. Nothing is beyond the capabilities of men or women with the assistance of technology to solve our dirty air pollution problem.
