Test kits for NHS workers

Doing a bit of research into the test kits for the NHS, i found the following information. The test kits, which inform the NHS worker if they have the virus is still not available for all staff. But you can purchase the kit from a private clinic at the cost of, and this cost has been quoted at £375. Individuals have been buying them, footballers also i am informed have bought them. This is a disgrace, surely these test kits should be made available to all NHS staff now and not for the few, but for the many. The NHS will be the saviour of our societies if they have the greatest protection. I do not see how a footballer is an essential worker in this crisis.
