Crime Warning

My 16-year old son was attacked in Maidenbower on Saturday 11 December at about 10:30 p.m. He was at the pedestrian crossing on Matthews Drive near the the Maidenbower Drive roundabout by Oriel High School. He was approached by three males. All about 16 to 17 years old. All of middle eastern appearance. They had a dog which was similar colouring and shape to a Jack Russell but larger. They asked him for money. They tried to steal his bike . One of them stubbed out a cigarette on his face and hit him. He then managed to get away after a struggle. I just thought that anyone who lives in this area may be interested to know.
