Son of Catherine Watson Scott born 1913: anyone close to the family?

hi there,
My great grand farther was John Grant scott born 1913 in Lerwick. His mother was Catherine Watson fink (born Scott) and his farther is unknown.
Does anyone know anyone close to the family at this time as they were in melby house Sheltand island as our ancestors were john scott of melbey etc.
I am trying to help my nana and her brothers and sisters find who their grand farther is, so they can look back on life with no regrets or secrets.
