Hi everyone, 

Just signed up to this site and wondered if there is anyone local to the Menston area who would like to meet up for coffee and a chat. Alternatively does anyone know of a group that meets up and goes out socially? I'm 42, love art and animals, I'm single and have no children. It would be great to meet others of any age. I'm free to meet up during the day so if you would like to make new friends please get in touch.

Hi Janet, Menston Arts Club have room for a few more members.  We are taking a break from our Monday evening meetings at the moment.  But we begin again in September.  You don't have to be an experienced artist to join, as we have demonstrations and workshops where we learn from visiting artists and from each other.  You can see our next syllabus here: Menston Arts Club Syllabus & FAQs (menstonac.blogspot.com)  Feel free to turn up at any meeting.  We charge visitors £5, but this is refunded if you join and pay the annual subscription of £70, which works out at about £2 per meeting.  For those members wishing to exhibit their paintings or craftwork, we have two exhibitions per year.
