hi. I'm hoping to be moving to metheold in the next couple of month but don't know the area very well.can anyone tell me what shops are in methwold /supermarkets ,doctor surgery there are in the village etc please 😊

There is a fish and chip shop (Rumbles) and a very small convenience shop in Methwold and a part time Post Office and a pub caled the George.
Nearby Feltwell (4 miles South) has a Spar and several shops, a Chinese and a Fish and Chip Shop - local Doctor's and a Vets.
There is a Tesco and an Aldi in nearby Brandon (about 6 miles South) - and perhaps the best Chinese (Peach Bower) - lots of small shops.
There is a bigger Tesco, Sainsburys and Lidl at Thetford (12 miles East) - and the nearest McDonalds.
The Green Man pub in Methwold Hythe is well worth a visit for the food.
There is a Tesco and Morrisons at Downham Market (12 miles West).
that's fantastic thank you v much....where is the is convenience store please. Had drive round yest we day bit.only saw post office. I'm moving on to herbert drive😊
