I have a couple of quite old mobile phones to dispose of plus the chargers, and I wondered where I can send them as I believe even the spare parts can make a little money for charity. I do not want to sell them as I would prefer the money to go to the charity.

Anybody know an address to send them to?

Thanks

I've just read that charities don't want you to send individual phones any more as royal mail charge the charity. On the Oxfam website it says that they are accepted at all Oxfam shops. http://www.oxfam.org.uk/donate/other-ways-to-donate/recycle-with-us

Thanks Miriam.

You tell me any Oxfam shop will accept them but I am unable to get to any shop as I have walking difficulties.

I have now given the phones to the Salvation Army with a bag of stuff that they collected   from me and they were pleased to get them - don't know what they will do with them.

Thanks anyway!
