I've been told there isn't ssl technology on this site which is why an ex-streetlifer has set up her own forum. I wasn't aware of this beforehand.  Is this in the pipeline please?

Hi there

Yes we are launching SSL across the whole site in the next few weeks. Please bear with us as we are quite new and we'll let you know when it's done

Thanks. It's because I tend to offer freebies and send details via a PM so I'll wait for this to be sorted first.

Taken from the net....

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

Thanks  Jasper 33.  Another bit of useful information to add to my (nearly) 80 year old brain.  It all helps to keep me lively.
