I miss Streetlife. It made a great difference to my life.I met someone who is  now a

close friend on it..We met up,got on and she started a dining group which has gone from strength to strength.Had lots of good meals out and made loads new friends..Norwich wine and Dine if  anyone wants to join on Meet ups.Single or coupled up welcome, any age welcome too.

Im sure many miss streetlife such a pity it had to be taken over and Americanised.

This site was on my list of 'alternatives to Streetlife', and I just checked-in again seeing if anything was going on. Well, the last post in the whole of Berkshire was a few 'for sale' items in September 2018. Not exactly thriving! At least I found some of you here more recently.

When Streetlife closed, a proportion of members joined the new site 'Kahuti'. But sadly, as ex-Streetlifers had been scattered, it never took off as well as it could and it has now all-but closed down.

We have now moved on to Scooploop, which is a very similar local community site to what Streetlife was like, and has been under considerable development over the past year or so, so it might be worth you taking a look. Also check out the groups, which are not geographically limited..

(Contributing here as it was listed as the thread with the most replies!)

anyone here from Streetlife?

Yeah me too. It seems to be that alot of us here have migrated. I did find streetlife very useful at a time when i needed that bit of extra advice and guidance. The best part and bonus of these forums is the number of like-minded people who give advice and not sarcasm/insults.

This is a message for Alex, dear Alex can you please get rid of the adverts to the right, I am not interested in Walsh removals, gutter cleaning, nor window cleaning as I have my own window cleaner thank you, Not interested in Stuart Price cars, I have just got a new car. Flowers by Sarah, Free computer help, I have my own man that I go to if I need help, Norwood logs. I cannot get rid of these adverts as they don't have a cross in tghe corner.
