Does anyone have any advice or experience of the above please ?

We have never had to access these services before and although we have accessed the CQC reports for a couple of places we would be grateful for any recommendations !

We are hoping to get Mum into PBL but they have a 6 week waiting list and the NNUH ward are keen to move Mum somewhere else quickly, whilst we don't want her moved too much as she doesn't handle it well.

I have no experience of care on Norwich I'm afraid. However, based on gran's experience in Kent, you can always get in promptly if you're paying 100% of the fees; Waiting usual if getting assistance with fees.

I don't know if that's the same here. Certainly understand wanting to get it right first time as unsettling if you have to arrange a move.

Best wishes to getting the place you want.

Hi Rowena it is a very difficult situation you are in although I can not recommend a place I can tell you a piece of information told to me when we were facing your situation. When looking at a place try to look at a time not prearranged you will get a better understanding of how they interact with the patients etc. Sadly our situation changed before we had to make a decision but I do know how hard this is for you and hope you find a suitable placement.

Sorry for not replying sooner, Mum past away in her sleep on the 31st May. She was still at the NNUH so we didn't have to access any Nursing Homes etc.

Thank you both for your help though !
