Hi, Dee,

As it is the birds' nesting season, the RSPB advise that no potential nesting sites are disturbed in the spring. Please can you bear this in mind when doing this work ?

I doubt any birds are going to build a nest in your tree just yet. I tend to use Google for any gardening questions. If you google 'Pruning apple trees' there's a lot of advice.

Welcome Isobel,

I don't use this site nearly as much as I did with Streetlife but I changed over owing to their new policies. I did not like what they did at all.

But I still miss it!

I hope you get on with this site okay.
