I have traced my ancestors back to Oldshore Beg. The 1841 census gives the family. Do you know who they rented land from and when they and their neighbour's left for Canada?

We've had a reply to this on our Facebook page:
"John, Catherine and their family are recorded in the 1851 Canadian Census in Nissouri East township, Oxford County, Canada West. Son Angus, 7 years old, is listed as born in Scotland so they must have immigrated after 1841 or 1842."
