Spaven's in Snainton
Hello there, thank you for letting me join your forum.
I'm researching my Spaven family history. In the 1871 and 1881 Censuses my gt gt grandparents Richard and Esther Spaven lived in "Low Street, Snainton". Richard was a farmer. I am unable to trace Low Street on any modern maps. My question is; was Low Street possibly renamed West Lane? In a search of listed buildings in Snainton I see that there is a "Low Farmhouse" listed, which seems to be right up the end of West Lane, very near or possibly actually on, the present day Westfield Manor Farm.
Does anyone know where Low Street in Snainton was please? I have lots more questions for you I'm sure, but I will stick with just this one for now.
Many thanks if someone can help me.
