Burgleries in Staines: Has anyone been burgled where there was no damage AT ALL?
Just spent a beautiful 4 day break in Scotland attending a wedding........A lovely service, brilliant hotel, stunning scenery and weather the locals only dream about. Super....until I received the dreaded phone call from my neighbour telling me I had been burgled. On returning home I found the usual drawers emptied onto the bed and floor, cupboard doors left open, my wifes ring that I bought for our 40th anniversary gone.
Both my wife and I are certain that all windows and doors were securely closed before we departed, so my question is this -
Has anyone been burgled where there was no damage AT ALL to the UPVc doors or windows, the police however , found evidence that they entered through a FRONT window in full view of, potentially the whole world......brazen or what ?
I've had a very experienced window fitter try to gain entry without causing damage.....he failed. Another very experienced window fitter tried using a wind bag ( A mini version of the inflatable bags the fire brigade use when lifting cars that have been involved in accidents )...he failed.
I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has experienced the same .
