Hi guys I was hoping someone can help I received 8 contravention of 33a I have never seen this before and I drove through this road regularly to get to work, the car is leased and company has paid for this without doing any due diligence and mow gone to my account to ask me to pay for something I was not even aware off and I don’t remember seeing any contravention. Can someone pls tell me if I have a case here because I really can’t afford 8 PCN especially when I can’t see any road sign based on you guys comment.

There are many of us who have been caught by these cameras. I didn’t know the new restrictions had been put in place when I drove through in late January. I found the signage poor especially at dusk early evening. However I appealed and lost and now owe £130.00. You could argue that your company should have let you know as soon as they received 1st PCN so you would have made that mistake again making it therefore their responsibility to pay. Good luck!

With regards to your penalties back in April, sounds like a repeated contravention whereby the notice of the first penalty was only served after the eighth contravention took place. And one would expect the council to at least exercise discretion in this regard and cancel the remaining penalties…worth mentioning but no guarantee.
