Having witnessed the carnage in Liverpool at the Pier Head yesterday, I feel now we have had the face of a caring sharing people, to a selfish, don't care attitude to rules to property and to our fellow man. No thought for physical distancing, no thought for the damage caused to one of the Graces. No thought given to the indiscriminate dumping of mounds of rubbish, left for others to clean up. Totally ignorant of the fact the whole world was watching. This was an organised rabble, and something we all must try and cut out. I do not think these were true Liverpool supporters. We can all abuse our city, glad to say, the majority do not wish to do so. The money spent on the clean up by the council could have been used on a more deserving cause.
