We are both losing the will to live trying to contact the DVLA! We are both 70+ and trying to RENEW our driving licenses early. We spend the winter months in South Africa and will be out of the country when our licenses expire. My husband wrote to the DVLA and all they did, eventually, was to send ME, not my husband, a complete RENEWAL form! We don’t need to have to get photos taken or incur charges, just RENEW before we go. We do not have the 90 day minimum period for normal renewal takes place as we go in October (we hope)! Does anybody have a suggestion as to how we can get the DVLA to respond or even to read and take on board what we have written to them🤬?
