Hi I am interested in finding out about my family.
My father was adopted with his sister
William Able Thomas of 5 Oliver Place Birkenhead
His sister Hilda Thomas
Their mother was Sarah Damon
Father Albert Thomas
They were married in Weymouth. In 1914
They died very young Albert 41 Sarah 32
Sarah died in childbirth she had a little girl Elsie, who unfortunately also died but a year or so later.
They are buried in Flaybrick cemetery In Moreton, along with other family members.
I never met my grandparents or any of the family, ( they all died before I was born)so was just wondering if there are any descendants, that can relate to this information, in Weymouth or around Dorset.
My fathers surname was changed when he was adopted, he was only two years old, so finding any family is hard, I asked on the local forums, and was given information, bringing the Owens into the family, very intriguing.
I was also told of the connection to Weymouth from this site.
I am just interested, in finding out what happened to his other siblings, I know most of them have passed, but may be some descendants are around that could solve the mystery. Thanks Chris
