This morning I found a dead fox in my garden. I am more than happy for foxes to roam the garden, they come almost every evening, and knowing there are foxes around reassures me that I will not have a rat problem, as has happened in the past. All the foxes in our area are in very good condition. The dead fox appeared to be in very good condition too. My only conclusion is that it had poisoned, possibly deliberately. I appreciate foxes in the garden are not everyone's cup of tea, but on the whole they do less damage than squirrels and rats. Whatever, they certainly do not deserve a death like this.
