Objections to plannned development on Goldsworth Rd Woking
“Greening Goldsworth Road” mega development in a nutshell
The development creates 965 dwellings and comprises 5 tower blocks between 9 and 41 storeys high (Victoria Square is 28 and 34 storeys) that will block sun and light. Only 5% of the dwellings will be affordable and only 2% will be big enough for families. 216 parking spaces will be for sale for the estimated 2,464 residents. Planned building time is 8 years. There are three methods of objecting:
1. Email the planning authority at [email protected]
2. Comment online on the application: https://www.woking.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/planning/review-or-comment-application - search for PLAN/2020/0568.
3. Post your objections to the planning authority: FAO Brooke Bougnague, Woking Borough Council, Civic Offices Gloucester Square, Woking, GU21 6YL
Everybody, non-Woking residents, can object and you can submit several different objections. What to include
Always the reference number PLAN/2020/0568, your name and address. If you don’t have much time to commit to writing your objection, a simple sentence stating that you object is enough to make a difference. If you have a bit more time to tailor it, then that’s even better. You can find some inspiration for objections on the step-by-step online guide: https://bit.ly/2D6HBiq
