Uncle bulgaria Posted by Uncle bulgaria in General Harrogate discussion on Thu Jan 20, 2022 5:47pm

In September 29th1958 I first met my wife at a dance in the Grand Hotel Cornwall Road Harrogate..   I have not been there since which often wish we had.  I recently found out that it isno longer a hotel and has changed the name to Windsor House.  The grounds have changed and not the outside but  the interior has.  I would love to see any interior photos  of the 1958 era as these would bring back. many happy memories of our 63 year of marriage and I my be able to pinpoint the exact position of our meeting which is very clear together with our clothing.   I. Do hope someone may be able to help.    Thank you.

RMG Deficit Charge of £570.....!! - 1 replies

SteveG Posted by SteveG in General Buckshaw Village discussion on Thu Jan 20, 2022 12:42pm

I live in the Worden Hall MLC part of Buckshaw and have just recieved an additional £570 charge from RMG for a deficit in their accounts. Yes £570 extra.

Has any body else recieved this charge? I have checked the accounts and they have a deficit of £20k (7% of their budget), so I am beings asked to pay approximately 1/40 of the deficit (a bit more actually)which is 50% more than I normally pay where as my normal RMG charge is about 1/260 of the budget they expected to have to raise.

Further more if you look at the job request sheets on RMG web page there is no signicant work been carried out to our block during the year to justify targetting our small block of 8 flats with the massive fee.

Thanks feedback.

Neighbourhood watch - 0 replies

Sharon86 Posted by Sharon86 in Neighbourhood Watch in Topsham on Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:02pm

Hi

I’m not sure if this is anything to worry about, but for the past week I’ve noticed a person looming in the dark down beside Matthews hall, nearly every night this person is there, almost like they don’t want to be seen, on the phone, smoking and drinking a take away hot drink. Has anyone else noticed? It’s a lil unsettling at 9/10pm at night every night .
