Amazing sale - 1 replies

Lee6417 Posted by Lee6417 in General Aylesford discussion on Wed Mar 9, 2022 8:39pm

I was doing my weekly shop in Aldi today and I noticed poundstretcher next door are doing a 50% warehouse clearance.

Absolutely everything was 50% off. If it said £1 on the shelf it was 50p at the till. This was for absolutely everything.

I spoke to the staff and they told me the sale won’t be for very long. 100% I’m going back tomorrow.

There must be a forum or climbing club advertising that climbers can come to the tow path at Friars View and climb the walls belonging to the residents.  If anyone comes here, they will have their photo taken and video of them climbing our walls.  The Police are informed and they will  punish anyone doing it.

If someone knows where this is being advertised, please post it here and then we can get the forum moderator to remove it.

Thanks

Friars View and the tow path - congestion of new visitors impacting the residents - 1 replies

vaultage Posted by vaultage in Coronavirus in Aylesford: Covid-19 discussion, news and updates on Thu Apr 2, 2020 7:57pm

Please can all the non residents of Friars View ME20 7JQ walk along the tow path behind the Friars View street instead of along the street,  hundreds of people are walking, cycling and running down the street every day since the lockdown instead of using the lovely setting of the tow path.  It is getting to the point that residents can't come out of their homes because there are so many people now walking along the street and we are bumping into them, when the tow path is unused.  Help us all be safe please.

Yellow is recommended, but red lines and areas are very close to the residents at it would be helpful if we can also have some space around our properties.

No more climbers here please.  It is evident that there is a climbing forum or climbing club are recommending climbers use the wall at the back of the residents properties to practice on, all coming with their chalk pouches ropes, climbing shoes etc.  Where the yellow lines are on the diagram. No climbers in 15 years the houses were built, but lots of climbers climbing the wall at the back of our gardens  suddenly in the past week.  Come on, it is obvious and we have noticed.  If anyone find the forum or club with this notice, please paste it below.

The residents have had a meeting with the Police and if any more climbers come, then they will be punished.
