DS 43 Community Defibrillators - 0 replies

Bill Shurmer DS43 Posted by Bill Shurmer DS43 in General Bishop Cuthbert discussion on Wed Sep 8, 2021 10:29pm

We have now received the 3 defibs that are for the Bishop Cuthbert area.

The funds to purchase these came largely from friends and colleagues of Danny Shurmer  and 128 people who have contributed to the Just giving site.

The defibs are for the benefit of Bishop Cuthbert residents and will be placed on the Tall Ships pub, Hartfields and the entrance to Merlin way from Hart Lane.

i don't know how many houses there are on Bishop Cuthbert  but a small donation from each will help us to place these life saving devices in other areas of the town.

So if you haven't already donated  please go to  “Help fund public defibrillators in Hartlepool in memory of Danny Shurmer”. and help us place more of these devices around the town.

If you want to donate straight to the funds bank account - then it is

Nat West Bank, ,  DS43 Community Defibrillators, sort Code 54-21-54, account 35290773

Thank you in anticipation of your donations...ill Shurmer

On New Year’s Day I converted one of my best-selling books “The Queen of Pantomime” a book about the life of Miss Freda Compton MBE. Miss Compton was responsible for staging an annual pantomime in Hartlepool that donated over £100,000 for charity. She also taught many pupils who went on to establish their own dancing schools in Hartlepool and beyond.

John’s “not for profit” book on the life of Miss Compton published in 2017 raised money for the Hartlepool and District Hospice and now the e-book version is available to readers. You can order your copy of the free e-book from: [email protected]
