Looking for information on Sarah who was born in 1839, Blaby. She eventually moved to Stratford Upon Avon which we have all the details for.  It is her early years in the Blaby area that we lack detail. Family story has it that she was connected to Blaby Hall. We know John Clarke, possibly born 1812, was owner of Blaby Hall when it was built in 1850s. And we think Sarah's dad was Joseph Clarke born 1811 but we can't find anything to connect the two together.

Posting on behalf of a friend.

Please help if you can! On Sunday 12th November my veteran father attended the Remembrance service at the memorial service in Blaby.  Somewhere between the car park behind Waitrose and the memorial, he lost his much loved ACTIVE SERVICE MEDAL. He describes it as a blue striped ribbon, with a silver medal with a picture of the Queen's head. It has his army number on the back and his name engraved T LAW. He says it also says Borneo which was where he had been stationed on that tour. If anyone has found his medal please PM me so that we can get the old boy reunited with it. He is so very upset and would love to get it back as it holds so much sentimental value.

Please share. Xxx
