We are interested in any quirky property and/or Victorian places but nothing suitable right now on the market. I love Tunis Row, Nelson Place, Dickens Road, Shuttler Road so if any residents are on there and thinking of selling shortly please get in touch with me.

Hello, I am looking for a cleaner towards the end of August to help with my very small holiday let in Broadstairs. It is a one up one down . It is approx a 2 and a half hour clean and the laundry needs attending to . I know it's a while away but if you or anyone you know would be interested please get in touch. Why is there a (chinook) helicopter flying around Broadstairs? - 0 replies

Didn’t see it directly, but I just heard a loud helicopter flying quite low. Minutes later somebody I know that lives nearby told me they had seen the same helicopter and sent me a picture. It’s a chinook, and it was right by the sea before apparently going back towards Broadstairs. Has anybody else seen it/have any idea why it is there?

Can anyone recommend a skilled dressmaker who is able to make a pattern from an existing garment to copy? I have a favourite old coat which has been eaten by moths and would like someone to copy the design for me. Recommendations for anyone in the Broadstairs area?
