Just want to hello to this group - 0 replies

lynda1951 Posted by lynda1951 in Find friends in Hastings on Wed Apr 3, 2024 4:25pm

Hello to you all this is my first message

Is your child at secondary school and been offered an NHS vaccination at school recently?

NHS England South East is keen to hear the views of young people, parents, carers and guards about the school-aged immunisation service (SAIS) and how it could improve.

The service provides a range of vaccines to young people in order to protect against serious preventable diseases. These include the HPV vaccine for protecting against HPV-related cancers, the MenACWY vaccine for preventing meningococcal diseases, and the 3 in 1 teenage booster for tetanus, diphtheria, and polio. Additionally, the catch-up programme offers the MMR vaccine to those who may have missed doses in the past.

Please complete the short confidential NHS survey:

Doctor P Das - 0 replies

Cuddlermum Posted by Cuddlermum in Missing persons in Hastings on Sun Jul 16, 2023 11:29pm

Does anyone remember a doctor Priyatosh Das that was in Hastings in the 1960's. I believe he may have been a GP in Hastings later on. I would like to contact him as I believe he may have known someone I am researching. He appeared to have been living in Surrey after Hastings. If anyone can help I would be grateful. Thank you.

Malaysian Doctor in Hastings in 1967 - 0 replies

Hi, I am looking for a doctor who may have been working at the RESH in 1967/68 please. He was Malaysian by nationality, but Sri Lankan ethnically. He may have been in Hastings for around six months in late 1967. He may have been living in the doctors' home in Holmesdale Gardens. He had a friend whom he socialised with (pubs, private members clubs in the town) who was also was Sri Lankan/Malaysian, this friend may have been a doctor too. If anyone can remember anything along these lines, I would be grateful to hear. Also, happy to hear from anyone that remembers a doctor living in the doctors' accommodation around that time or knew any of the doctors at the RESH in the late 1960's. Thank you.

Hello there

I am a writer and editor looking to move down to Hastings or St Leonards from April or May 2021.

I am looking for a quality, furnished or part furnished 1 or 2 bed with outdoor space. Ideally in Hastings Old Town or West St Leonards. My budget is around £700 for a 1 bed, or up to £850 for a 2 bed.

Private landlords much preferred.

Please drop me a note if you may have something that might be suitable.

Cheers

Aimee

Morning all

Hubby and I are planning to move to Hastings or St Leonards in the winter. I’m looking for ideas or opinions of areas to look at and also avoid.  We prefer quiet, residential areas as we are not big on night life.

Thank you in advance.
