Linda65 Posted by Linda65 in Moving to Heacham: tips and advice on Mon Jun 11, 2018 12:59pm

I'm considering moving to Heacham. My passion is fitness and I wondered if there was a facility nearby which offered challenging fitness classes such as HIIT, kettlebells, the Grits etc. I have found a few fitness centres via search engines but none seems to offer what I'm looking for.

Diesels - 3 replies

Drivers of diesel cars are being demonised, yet the latest generation (leaving out those who cheat on the emissions tests) are cleaner than ever. There was something in the press recently about old ice cream vans with motors running constantly to keep the freezer generators going and belching out pollution. Anyone stood in KL bus station recently? How many buses are there standing there with engines running? My car switches off automatically at lights, junctions etc, when I stop. So did my last one and so do many others. OK so maybe buses don't have that technology, but they do have a clever little device called Driver's Hand And On/Off Switch.

Information about people in the town October / November 1970 - 0 replies

Looking for Me Posted by Looking for Me in Missing persons in Heacham on Tue May 16, 2017 3:59pm

I am trying to locate anyone who knows about a rape that took place in October / November 1970.

The lady was approx 25 and lived with her mother who ran a bed and breakfast (details unknown) in Heacham. They came from the London area. Soon after this they moved out of Norfolk.

I do not want to give names out but i am trying to find out who my father is. Any information would be welcome. It is not an option to ask my mother.

I am not out to ruin lives, wreck family's etc and i am not after money. I need to know who i am.

Thanks.

I'm going to start a petition to make him England football manager. The opposition will be bamboozled by a team packed with left wingers. But at least they'll all be star strikers.

Hm- been and voted today, fully expecting to see more than just the 3 traditional- I hesitate to call some of them main parties these days. I know I said UKIP is no longer relevant, especially at local level- but what happened to them? Discretion the better part of valour? Forgot to throw their hat in the ring?
