It’s a bit of a long shot, but I’m wondering if anybody remembers a man called Arthur Telford and his wife Peggy? I’m unsure of exact dates they lived on Mull - it was somewhere between 1980 and 2000. I think they had an electrical shop at one point, fixing tvs. I’m unsure whereabouts on Mull this was - does anyone recall them?

Moving to Mull - 0 replies
Hi,
My husband and I are considering retiring to Mull so we are on a bit of a fact-finding mission to see how sensible that is. I'm trying to discover information about food costs, average heating costs and what health care is like on the island.
We've visited there many times and I don't think we're alone thinking it's one of the most beautiful places on the planet despite the rain :) I know that it would be an idyllic place to live but as we'd be living on a fixed income I think it makes sense to work out whether it's better to move closer so that we can visit more easily or would we ok living there.
Any ideas or websites you can direct me to?

Memorial bench - 0 replies
Hi, we are coming back to Mull / Glengorm area at the beginning of August to scatter my mum's ashes (she passed away a year ago). She was born on Mull and always felt most at home here.
We have been given permission to have a bench placed at a walker's viewpoint near Glengorm Estate castle but need to find a joiner/carpenter who can build a bench for us.
Any recommendations?
Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks,
Lorna.
