Hello ! I am Norfolk-born (Hunstanton) but left Norfolk when I was two months old and now live in Kent.  My maternal grandfather was Arthur Henry Grainger BEM (1900 - 1977) son of William Henry Granger (Bill) and Matilda Granger (Tilly) nee Setchell. William was in the Royal Artillery and later, served on steamers between Lynn and Hull (Fairy and Sea Nymph). 

Arthur served in 3rd Norfolk Volunteer Regiment during WW1 and worked for the Ministry of Defence at RAF Newmarket during WW2. He lived in Lynn (worked as a fisherman) and after he married Olive Maud Green (known as Molly or Doris) of Congleton, they ended up in Sheringham. I think they may have been separated or divorced as the year after I was born, my mother and her parents are all living separately. My father knew Arthur years before I was born and didn't like him so I didn't meet my grandparents. Arthur died in Aylsham in 1977 and Olive died in 1982 at Kelling. 

I'm doing really well on the historical stuff, but suspect that I have living distant cousins, in Lynn especially. If you have Henry Granger & Sarah Sunter (later Senter), Robert Granger & Hannah Sexton, Robert Granger (another one) & Rhoda Barker in your family tree, please reply or message me. 

If you're a Granger in Norfolk, please reply/message as I have found Grangers in Heacham, Ringstead, Hunstanton, Dersingham, Loddon, Filby, Downham Market, Dereham, Great Yarmouth etc.
