I'm looking for a very dear friend of mine, her full name is Laura Jane Brooks. She's 5'6, 20 years old, has pale skin, blue eyes and dark brown curly hair up to her shoulders. I haven't heard from her in 5 months, and I live in Lincoln so I can't just go to the village as I'm a student with little money to spare.

Our only source of communication was via a mobile app, and on the 10th of Feb of this year I woke up, and went to message her to wish her a good morning as had become our routine to see that her profile had gone just like that. I know that this particular app has a tendancy to delete random accounts for no reason, which is probably what's happened here.

It's a bit of a delicate situation, and I have more details and pictures of her (which I'm not going to give out unless I get a lead), so if anyone recognises the name and knows that she does indeed live in the village, I would be grateful if I could be told. It's not a serious situation, I've just lost contact with her. I'm very fond of her, I miss her and I'm hoping to regain contact again, if she wants to.

I've tried many resources, with little success, so I'm hoping that this is a good avenue to go down. If you do so happen to know anyone who knows her, she'll know me as Jan, that was her nickname for me.

I eagerly await a (hopefully positive) response. These past few months of silence have been awful.
