My 16-year old son was attacked in Maidenbower on Saturday 11 December at about 10:30 p.m. He was at the pedestrian crossing on Matthews Drive near the the Maidenbower Drive roundabout by Oriel High School. He was approached by three males. All about 16 to 17 years old. All of middle eastern appearance. They had a dog which was similar colouring and shape to a Jack Russell but larger. They asked him for money. They tried to steal his bike . One of them stubbed out a cigarette on his face and hit him. He then managed to get away after a struggle. I just thought that anyone who lives in this area may be interested to know.

I COULD NOT FIND ANY BREAD FLOUR TO BUY IN THE SHOPS. I ENDED UP BUYING A VERY LARGE BAG OF BREAD FLOUR BUT DO NOT NEED IT ALL. Where can I find a cat for my small care home? - 0 replies

I have tried Cats Protection to offer a lovng home to a cat , but have found them very picky and not very helpful.

I run a small care home in a residential house for 5 ladies (not in Maidenbower ) although I live in Maidenbower myself, and we would love to offer a living home to a cat .

We are happy to make a donation but can't afford ££££'s.

Do you know of anyone wanting to re home or sell a cat?
