Streatham locarno - 1 replies

Cate Posted by Cate in General Streatham Hill discussion on Thu Dec 31, 2020 2:30pm

Hi  like happens sometimes just one word causes one to travel back in time .

Was wondering if anyone can recall the name of the dance bands at the locarno around 1958/59 . Song popular seem to remember was Fever .

One year the dance hall gave all the ladies a bracelet sadly mine was taken in a burglary,  of no momentary value but huge sentmental .

Is so annoying when trying to remember a name etc  So am hoping someone has a better memory of those wild jiving coffee shop days not  forgetting the ole jukeboxes  😁

For sale: Three-seater Sofa Bed: Holmsund Sofabed - 0 replies

Manuela8 Posted by Manuela8 in Buy and sell items in Streatham Hill on Fri Nov 27, 2020 11:07pm

Ikea Holmsund sofabed: three-seater / double bed
Excellent conditions, 4 years old and spotless (always used with an extra cover on).

The sofa is sturdy and comfy, the grey cover looks great, is very resistant and can be completely removed.

It becomes a single bed just quickly moving the cushions, or a proper double bed with two very easy movements.
The bed is super comfortable!

It includes large capacity storage space for duvet, pillows or anything else.

I really love it and am only selling it due to moving.

SE22 (preferred) or SW2, it is now disassembled and flat packed for easy transportation.

Sofa dimensions cm 230 x 99 x h96 (including back cushions) / h79 (backrest)
Bed dimensions cm 200 x 140
