Dog boarding in Teddington and Chimney Sweep - 0 replies

Caroline37 Posted by Caroline37 in Recommended Tradesmen and Companies in Teddington on Sun Nov 28, 2021 10:08am

Hi there

I have recently moved into the area and wondered if anyone could recommend a dog sitter who would be available for occasional family holidays.  We have one spaniel aged 18 months.  He would prefer a garden and likes a walk twice a day. I am also liking for a chimney sweep who could sweep our chimney as soon as possible.

Hello!

Would you like to make a positive impact in the lives of disabled children and young people?

Lady Allen Adventure Playground has provided a safe, inclusive, and exciting play service for disabled children and young people in South West London for over 50 years. The service is both child-led and child-centred: meaning that children and young people choose when, how and what they play with. This means they have a sense of ownership, enabling them to make choices, develop friendships and have fun!

Our children absolutely love playing with bicycles, scooters and tricycles. However, years of love and use has damaged our equipment, leaving it unrepairable and unusable. Meanwhile, our annual allocated funding has had to be spent on compulsory repairs and new safety measures, leaving nothing left over for new bikes.

As the playwork team, we have decided to take things into our own hands and have organised a 50km sponsored walk to raise money for the much needed equipment ourselves. The distance of 50km represents the number of years our playground has been open, and will be covered in just one day! We will start from Lady Allen, following the river Thames to Teddington before walking back to the playground.

Bikes are a huge part of the culture at Lady Allen. So many children have first learnt how to cycle whilst on our playground. It is a skill many of us take for granted, but goes a huge way to boosting the self-confidence of our children and young people. With your support we can continue to facilitate these magic moments for future generations of Lady Allen children.

Thank you for supporting our cause!

Looking for a job: Cleaner in Teddington - 0 replies

EmSti Posted by EmSti in Job search in Teddington on Wed Feb 5, 2020 1:57pm

Hi everyone!

My name is Emilia and I'm a third-year student currently studying English Literature. I'm currently working on my dissertation and spending lots of time in the library, however my rent is not cheap and I'm finding myself struggling to make ends meet.

I would like to offer my services as a house cleaner. A family friend has a cleaning business in Hertfordshire and I used to help her out when I was in sixth-form for some pocket money so I do have experience with domestic cleaning.

I'm a responsible, reliable young lady and a hard worker, so I promise you would not be dissapointed. I would be looking to charge between £10-15 an hour and have flexible availability so I am sure we could work around your schedule.

Please get in touch if you need a cleaner. I am happy to speak to you on the phone to discuss further.

Thank you :)
