Hi

Im looking for a van or suitable vehicle heading from Towcester to Huddersfield area this week that can collect a vehicle top box and drop somewhere near to Huddersfield, will pay a reasonable sum which will cover fuel and a sandwich.

Any help appreciated.

I've just watched "Rip-off Britain" on BBC1 and two tenants had/have the most horrendous mould in their property. But it was NOT their fault and it wasn't because of lack of hygiene or lazy housekeeping skills. They used mould remover spray, they aired out their property, they knew to dry up any moisture issues. But the mould kept coming back. An assessment was made on one property and the mould was due to structural damage issues. NOT being lazy and not out of not caring about mould.

Mould spores are very nasty and can result in breathing issues, as well as other health problems. If this is you, get your council/landlord to treat the mould themselves. If the mould does come back, the council must do a structural assessment and treat the problem at its root cause.

You don't have to put up with health endangering mould: and don't let your landlord blame you and accuse you of poor housekeeping standards.

I know this is a plug, but Towcester high street has some real gems of shops. Not just J&A but other shops, too.

I have been buying jewellery from J&A for years: they sell a variety of rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets... They also sell socks, handbags, various other bags and toiletries. The prices are very fair too without being too cheap.

Check them out! Jane is the usual shop keeper. Lynn is also on hand along with Tracy!

I LOVE Waitrose cafe. I go there every week. It is small and cosy and the service is top-notch.

If you're interested pop in any time! Although it is best to arrive before 3-3:30pm. They close at around 3pm on a Sunday.

Again - if you like your cafes - you'll love Waitrose cafe! They do both savoury and sweet foods. Their cakes are seriously nice and there are many lunch options.

Why close a valuable bank branch?

I have had four COVID-19 vaccinations, so aren't contagious but do we still need to wear face masks in Waitrose for instance?

COVID-19 is pretty scary and I know how many people have fallen sick.

Thoughts? Preferences? Opinions?

Looking for a 2-bedroom bungalow or apartment with balcony to retire to within easy distance of Towcester.  We have tried several retirement companies but they are very expensive.
