Me and my family are thinking of moving to walton-on-thames my daughter is 13 years and my son is 7 years old I am looking for what would be the good state schools for both of them. I prefer to have the schools close to each other as that would be convenient .also can you please let me know on what are the rents available for a two bedroom flat  close to such Schools

Hello everyone, we recently fell in love with Walton-on-Thames whist searching for a new area to move to! We have been house hunting and have found that some roads are high risk for surface water flooding. Low risk of flooding from the river and reservoir surprisingly. We were just wondering if this was the environment agency going a bit overboard or whether this is a genuine threat. Can anyone living in a high risk of surface flood area advise if you have experienced flooding and any measures you have had to take? For example flooding insurance, or flood proofing your property. Has it devalued your property? Basically we are just weighing up the risk as we have found a house we love quite near the queen Elizabeth Reservoir. Thank you very much for any advice you can give.

Hi, i am moving to WOT end of Feb 2021 not really knowing the area or anyone there. I am hoping it will be a friendly place and look forward to making it my home. My 14 yr old son and 23yr old daughter will be with me. Looking forward to when everything re opens and I can join a walking group or something to make new friends.Any suggestions of groups available would be welcome.Thanks Liese.

Looking at downsizing to a 2 bed (poss 3 bed) cottage or house in the WOT area with a decent sized secluded garden if possible.

Ive lost a camera ( DJI Osmo Pocket ) in a rectangular black case, think I last had it on the bench by the towpath near the Anglers and the Swan pub.  This was Fri 6th March, afternoon.
